我很努力的告訴自己當我想要介紹新歌的時候, I have to add a little DIVERSITY... 可是看來看去怎麼好像都還是在John Mayer跟Stones Throw之間徘徊咧???

Stones Throw 這個怪不啦几的地下嘻哈廠牌第一次推出這個叫做Chrome Children的合輯其實已經是快兩年前的事了...
雖然我很買其中一些歌手的帳 (the Jay, the Lib, the Villain, Oh No...) 但可能是它那蠻沒感情的模糊封面, 我也是矜到這次去美國在店裡看到特價$12.99才心軟購入...

果不其然, 這張並不太是我的菜... somehow someway it just didn't really connect...
(我iPod裡大概只load了19首的6,7首吧...)

不過很快的這個Chrome Children就又推出了第二篇, 而且這次還在ST的官網免費歡迎大家下載...

從早上抓下來之後我已經差不多把整張專輯聽過一次, 不但整體性比Vol.1來的順暢很多, 歌曲的內容還有Remix的版本也多還教人印象深刻...
絕對是我會專程花時間從iPod的"專輯"目錄裡撈出來整張重聽的佳作...

結語: 最後一首Arabian Prince - Strange Life是我唯一沒load上iPod的歌, 其他我都還蠻愛的...

早上閒閒沒事做, 想說幫你從flickr上找一些東京景點的照片給你做功課...
Afterall, 二月底才要出發的這趟五日遊, 你從十一月就開始計畫... 我認真覺得你不去做奧斯卡的籌備實在太可惜了....

Anyways, as I was wandering around the flickr's database on下北沢, I thought about 當年你花了七萬多塊現大洋買進, 隔不到兩年又草草脫手的那台屌單眼相機... Then I sorta realized how different our priorities are...

for instance:

• 同樣是去一個沒去過的超陌生的地方, 你為了五天東京做了快三個月的功課, 我為了四天阿姆斯特丹整整逃避到上了火車才真正開始看Guide Book.... (當然啦, 你是因為要負起帶你馬子的重責大任啦...)
  
• 如果我可以的話, 我會很甘願每天花他個兩三百喝一杯Guinness享受一下那股"順"下去的快感, 但我還真捨不得每次看電影的時候花他媽八九十吃一包又小又鹹又撐不過預告片的爆米花...
• 到了晚上你就會想回家打你的什麼world of warcraft什麼屁的看著自己變成一個拇指大的小人跟著幾個沒脖子沒膝蓋的主角走來走去打怪獸看著幾個不知道有啥意義的數字飛來飛去....
  但我連續一百多個晚上每天花他個一個半小時重複的打那個一樣戰術一樣運球一樣上籃的NBA也是沒好到哪裡去啦...

看第二集的Nana是三天前的事情了, 可是我已經記不太起來了... 不是因為我有多愛許瑋倫, 而是因為這片子實在太令我失望了...

若您想繼續看下去, 就代表了您願意已與我站在同一陣線, 放棄了看這部騙錢爛片的決心...

第一集的Nana我記得剛開始看的時候整個沒few到一個不行, 整個覺得是欺騙那些帶有一些性向不明的假搖滾小鬼看的瞎片... 但在兩個小時不到的時間裡, 整個人處在宮崎葵的笑容還有中島美嘉的冰冷的三溫暖洗禮下, 果然被小小感動了... 尤其是中途她們剛把707號房粉刷完成, 阿伸首度帶著Demo帶上京, Nana一個箭步跨上桌子披上披風哼哼唱唱Glamorous Sky的那一刻, 我是真的還蠻熱血沸騰的...

沒想到天有不測風雲....
打從這次第二集的第五還是第六個鏡頭Pan到二代目ハチ公的時候我的心馬上就被她那呆滯沒戲的眼神還有爆禿卻又不可愛的大版牙涼了半截....
這時候我才知道, 很多人都在說NANA都是因為中島美嘉的蒼白死人臉跟掃把棍子腿而成功, 但這次換掉了那個在首部曲裡演活了楚楚可憐, 依賴感十足卻又不失靈性的宮崎葵, 你才開始了解真的人的一生中有太多東西要好好把握....

總之, 光就主角部分, 中島雖然還是把持住了她的那股令人敬畏的冷酷和偶爾一發的柔軟.. 但這次的新ハチ公-市川由衣-卻把ハチ最討人憐惜的依賴嬌弱的那種個性利器演成了男人最受不了的懦弱和麥芽糖一樣的毫無自主能力....

更別提劇中的完全沒戲Ren (黑色棒球帽演的都比他好, 讓我想到在無間道3裡面陳慧琳脖子上的tiffany項鍊也演的比她好...); 接手機不敢壓到翩翩秀髮, 開賓士上表參道啪啪吊馬子, 2007還在學2001吳建豪造型的死台客Takumi; 聲音比本人討喜不做廣播太可惜的伊藤由奈(看完之後我還真的坐在椅子上等著看credit 確定是不是伊藤她本人...); 跟整個很故意卻又完全沒punch的主題曲...

一言總結:

優勢: 如果你有圍裙僻的話千萬不能錯過...
劣勢: 熱血幾乎沒有, 不過看完可能會得氣胸....
Hot Scale: 大概跟Subway的冷餐小樂隊差不多Hot... (而且還是6吋的...)

MSN? 御宅族?

一直覺得人與人溝通已經是一件很困難的事, 現在又多了一個msn, 只會造成更多的溝通不良. 所以下次男女朋友或是很久沒見的朋友在msn吵了起來, 請記得用個表情符號帶過, 打打太極, 有話下次面對面講清楚就好, 呵呵.

所以囉, 我昨晚把b貼在wag上的對話又看了一遍, 靠! 我自己也看不懂我當時在講什麼? 現在讓我把事情再說一遍吧!

一切的一切的一切都是從一個無聊的禮拜三工作早上說起, 話說有兩個白痴, 一個是剛接到一通電話通知說少了一個月遣散費的dudel, 一個是便秘兩天看課長很杜爛的dudel, 他們在討論鳳凰城太陽的連勝紀錄…

鳳凰城太陽已經連贏14場, 接下來要面對的4個球隊依照順序是尼克, 公鹿, 騎士, 灰狼. 當b說太陽會有18勝, 換句話說他猜太陽會贏接下來的4場比賽. 所以這時候換paichik在這4個球隊當中選出一個會贏太陽, 假設他選的是騎士, 那就是太陽會有15勝.

天下太平, 普天同慶!

但是如果你仔細看上面的說法, 這樣的賭注會是公平且對等的嗎?
不是!

為什麼呢?

當b說太陽會有18勝, 他其實只有證明了一個條件
1. 太陽會有18勝

可是當paichik說太陽會被騎士打敗, 他其實證明了兩個條件
1. 太陽會有15勝
2. 而且太陽會被騎士打敗

不管是不是只看接下來的4場比賽, 以上的說法所附帶的條件都是不對等的.

既然paichik多加了一個條件, 那這個賭注就不會是對等的了, 如果要讓賭注變公平, wager或是條件必須更改一下. 下面是2個可行的方法:
1. paichik改說太陽會有15勝
2. 或是b改說太陽會被馬刺打敗 (第5場是馬刺)

其實上一篇b也證明了這樣的說法是對的, 因為他選了爵士會打敗太陽

多虧了公司老葉週末去了趟香港, 我才把她的CD-Rom燒錄器A來我這台筆電上用...

看著我那張1GB的記憶卡也快要爆滿了, 我就在過去的加班星期六跟無趣星期一裡認真的整理了一下過去半年多我照過的照片, 把它們全整理歸類燒成CD做備份...

對於這些資料夾歸檔還有按照日期事件排列的整理我發現我還真的是很嚴重的強迫跟龜毛...
先是以人物去分類: 家人, 朋友, 馬子, 獨照, 白天同事, 晚上電台, 無聊小物, 旅行...
再來就是以月份...
再來就是什麼節慶日子會面內容還有確切日期...

我也真的是太龜了點...

我知道我很後知後覺, 但這網站從介面到排組到呈現都真的小哩小氣的無名來的好太多了!!!!

Seeing other ppl doing things with what I also have always gives me mixed feelings, like seeing someone else shooting cooler pictures with the same camera that I haver, or doing some crazy moves on NBA2K6 that I'd never try doing before...

Back when I was still playing guitar, this one day I was at a Tom Lee trying out some new pedals, and then some dude came and borrowed my guitar and spilled out a very cool riff with it...
After he gave me back my guitar I kinda froze for about a good 5 seconds, half wonderin' if that thing was mine afterall...

It's Sook-Yin on the Bus!!!

最近要出的一部新的電影 Shortbus 性愛巴士...

昨天晚上在電視上看到這部戲的介紹, 當然話題就一定是圍繞著演員打真軍, 新聞局審核等等等的跟劇情毫無關聯的無聊邊鼓... 人都已經活到2007了, 如果真的是為了看幾個欲男欲女打真軍我想大家大可上網找就好啦, 有幾個人會真的掏腰包花他個300現大洋桅巾正坐的盯著大銀幕看著幾個也沒多可口的演員哼哼哈哈的咧....?

雖然我是不太知道整部戲的劇情, 但昨在這巴士的介紹上則是看到了個熟悉的亞洲臉孔...
她的名字叫Sook-Yin Lee, 是以前1995年左右加拿大的音樂電視頻道MuchMusic的VJ之一...

對她印像最深的就是當時的她跟另外一個名字很怪的搖滾小子George Stroumboulopoulos一起主持一個專注於搖滾MV的節目叫The Wedge, 就看每天她穿著很搖滾叛逆的哥德風打扮或是隨性不羈的T-shirt牛仔褲介紹MV跟訪問藝人, 在那個時候就覺得她那個很用功聽音樂學以專精的態度很令我景仰, 那時候還是個她的小fans咧...

後來沒幾年她就宣布要離開Much開始自己做演員的路...
這麼多年之後再在世界的另一邊看到她, 覺得還蠻為她感到開心的...
也許我會就為了這個素昧平生的"老朋友"去捧捧場坐一下她的性愛巴士...

過去兩天的節目我真的做的很爽... 不是節目上說出來的東西, 我指的是節目裡聽到的歌曲...

但我也知道這兩天可能節目裡話多了點, 多弄了些同事進來陪我說說話聊聊天, 有人有建議我還是要回歸基本盤, 讓我選擇播放的音樂替我表達最真實的, 最想要傳達的message...

其實我有時候真的是個想很多的人... 就連好不容易可以好好無憂無慮的放歌的時候也都會因為擔心自己選的歌會太Over啦, 是不是每個人都能像我一樣連續聽他個四分鐘的繞口令還是high到不型, 或是一首歌聽到後面會一成不變鬼打牆啦... 所以總會想用很多有的沒有的閒聊蓋上去做掩飾...

不過我想真的有在聽的人應該還是聽的出我的用心吧? 畢竟過去這幾天我是真的每天準時下白天的班趕車回家, 晚飯都還沒吃也要蹲在CD櫃前, 選出滿滿一袋子的片子提去Station, 然後放每首歌都要先在腦袋裡蕊一次, 放出去之後還要馬上去想下一首歌, 還要想出一些閒聊話題跟擺頭搖手打拍子...
但也真的就是這些一個一個的環節讓我真的感覺到自己比較像個真正的DJ吧....

今天晚上要做的主題是搖滾, 還請來了外型聲音甜, 內心熱血滾的DJ同事 趙之璧帶她自己的壓箱寶來跟我分享...
我打算在'94~'99這段Grunge的黃金時期上做文章, 畢竟那個時候我還真的是個彈Strat 採Pedal 定期採買Guitar World 的Punk咧...

不過我會學乖, 我會少說點多放點, 多讓我放的歌在你的耳朵裡paint the picture...

禮拜四我想我該來個柔一點的2-hour Baby-Making-Music Special...

患難見真情之原形畢露....

你知道我是做什麼的...
而如果你有看新聞, 也應該已經知道發生什麼事了...
基本上昨天的會還沒開大家也都大概曉以大義了吧... 才通知說要開會就看到堆了有三四年的公關CD突然開始有人拿了箱子來打包...
結果昨開會的時候有人好心勸我不要悶, 我還覺得莫名其妙... "我完全沒悶啊... 老子臉上沒表情的時候就是個臉臭嘛...."
後來在tvbs上看到我的那副尊容, 實在也有點被自己的臭臉給嚇到了... 不認識我的人可能以為我大概房貸車貸加二胎, 還有對雙胞胎小孩在肚子裡吧....

我是沒有什麼話想說啦, 雖然其實心裡真的感觸良多...
... 好啦, 也許還是有些話想說吧...

自從2003年3月開始就從沒間斷(除了偶發的老闆應酬跟常發的個人旅行)地做我夜間時段的節目, 想到下禮拜開始就要"恢復自由身"了, 卻不免有種"媽的那我晚上要媽的去哪裡做什麼消磨時間啊???"的不安感....

當然啦, 凌駕於其之上的還有那個失去了一份收入的現實面的失落... 以後酒就只能一個禮拜喝一次, 吃義大利麵也只能單點配白水, 不能再去搭配$150元沙拉飲料加甜點的套餐, 甚至連多加5塊的中薯換大薯都要謹慎考慮了... (媽的最好是那麼窮啦~)

但說真的, 那些都只是我的不安而已... 但如果說到"不捨", 最令我放不下的應該只是就這麼樣的失去了一個自己認為唯一做的好的事的舞台了吧...
從最初說話支支吾吾語無倫次的瞎新手, 到現在睜眼說瞎話, 捧人不打草稿的油條... 就這麼樣的拔掉了曾經還蠻另自己驕傲的舞台, 說穿了, 我有點不甘...

在最後的這個禮拜, 公司已經說了沒有限制, 沒有播歌的排定框框, 也無所謂節目的內容 (畢竟說穿就是一句話"有種你Fire我啊~~~ 喔對後我忘了, 你已經fire我了..."的狀態...) 所以我決定這個禮拜要播所有我想播的歌, 說所有我想說的話, 把最後這禮拜做到"爽就好"的原則!!!!
想到了這就還真的蠻令我興奮的, 畢竟這將是第一次我的節目是完全"為了滿足我"而做...
也許在我最後一次能操控節目內容播放音樂的這個禮拜, 我總算能夠做到當初我想做DJ的最原始初衷: 跟所有願意聽我節目的人分享我愛的好音樂....

復刻魂

幾個月前有提到過的那部阿部寬演的日劇最近在台灣也開始上演了... 雖然蠻多好笑的點, 整體並不算太乏味難看, 但好像周圍大家一致給予的超高評價跟我當初的預期有那麼一點點差距...

雖然現在才開始看可能有點晚了, 還是報一下:

重點是, 剛剛逛著逛著竟然讓我碰到劇中一個配角金田建築師的網站... 整個就莫名的興奮了起來!!! 差點沒跟著叫出

日本人真的就是愛來這招, 把虛幻世界裡的東西活生生變出來到現實世界裡讓你享用... 像我愛穿的那件SARU T-shirt就是一部漫畫中主角的定番打扮 (緩和派的同人誌COSPLAY?)... 還有我曾在東京台場富士電視台前驚鴻一瞥過的黃金梅利號真實版....

不過真實復刻也不是樣樣都來, 畢竟到了今天我還在等待真人實吋大的女亂馬出現....

Anyways, before all of the above has happened, in the good year of 2003, he and his MC Jemini paired up for one of my favorite underground album called Ghetto Pop Life, and I seriously think that it is the best effort he has ever put out, even better than all those afterward...

Point is, Danger and Jemini are dishing out another installment this summer...
And here we are, 6 months before its release (I'm being optimistic, 'cuz u know the chance for them to delay this release is higher than Rosie catching diabetes), one of the new singles has already been leaked out....

It Ain't Where You From, It's Where You At.

總算回來台北了. 這次的美加行雖然看了很多小時候熟悉的memory lane, 但這趟旅行反而也是我印象中最homesick的一次...
可能真的是適應台北了, 以前每當想到國外最響往的又乾又脆的冷空氣, 寬敞空曠的大路, 停車場, 還有那些shopping centers這次好想都打動不了我了... 果然該好好珍惜一下這個半夜還有餐廳開著, 出門不用開半小時車程, 電視可以轉50幾台的這個城市了...

在溫哥華的最後這幾天的重點應該就是回去UBC走走看看以前熟悉的Henry Angus了吧...

以前天天在這裡下公車, 走進學校裡... 現在已經變成停車場了...

以前的Henry Angus改名成Sauder了...

以前覺得死大的Lecture Hall現在感覺也還好...
因為還沒開學整個Campus幾乎沒什麼人... 想到隱密通風回音好,也就不免會想要在這...
照一張相....

以前的Locker也順便來回憶一下... 打的開才有鬼咧...

對... 就是個耍ㄍㄟ掰...

之後也跟我以前溫哥華時代的日文會話補習班老師見面, 吃了點Sushi, 去了他家參觀參觀...
想想也不過四五年前還是個心不定的小滑頭, 這次再見面, 感覺到他的成熟度跟顧家度都像他臉圓一樣明顯...

想當年小哥我就是這麼一步一腳印的唸到今天的...

七個月大的兒子叫Haruto...

三十有五, 有妻有子有房有車還有狗... 有點夫復何求的感覺...
以前的小痞子, 現在的他也變成了個開著Van, 車庫一堆榔頭電鑽, 從粉刷牆壁到鋪水泥蓋地板全部都來的爸爸了... 真的算是種成長了...

2007年到現在的8.5天, 看來是沒太多令我期待的事情發生...
牙痛到嘴巴合不攏, 出美國海關被特殊檢查, 手機看來撐不過農曆年... 看來又是一個"捱"...

Long Long Long Trip Down the Memory Lane.

距離上一篇不到半小時之後我就跟vliao出去吃飯了... 奇怪了, 來到美國怎麼明明沒怎麼吃, 也少喝了很多酒, 可是熊熊就是覺得好像胖了很多...可是還是不能阻止我享受美食的慾望...

先是到Sushi House吃中飯 (早飯根本沒吃耶...)

幾個廚師都沒變... 左邊的是唯一的日本人, 其他的兩個都用中文交談...

握壽司是日本師傅做的... 味道果然不輸當年...

吃飽之後就開始了今天的重頭戲, 回去看看幾個好多年不見, 小時候常去遊玩的地方...

Alex的家... 一點都沒變...

pai-chik的家, 雖然說外牆都沒怎麼變,
可是透過窗戶看的出來裡面加了很多家具, 門口也停了很多車...

至於接下來的這兩張嘛... 是我送給兩位好友的小小extra禮物...

然後就回到了我住了快10年的舊家... 聽說我後來賣給了一個老外, 老媽甚至還有警告過我說整個房子樣子都變了, 回去可能會整個都不認識了...

在這裡真的駐足了很久... 很努力的去回想以前的家跟現在的房子有哪些差別, 哪些是新的哪些是從以前就有的...
之後就回到以前的高中去走走...

於是繼續我們的尋根之旅... 來到了我以前打工的Brentwood Mall Starbucks...
媽的進去還真的看到一個以前一起的同事耶!!!! 可是我卻沒叫他... 雖然說以前還算蠻好的, 可是既然他也沒認出我... you know... 有時候就是會莫名的Chicken Out...

店裡面的內裝也幾乎全改了...

就這樣, 兩個沒朋友的人繼續著他們的尋根旅...

既然高中都看了, 這也總該要看看吧...
